Toy Inventor STEM Tinker Lab (grades K-1ish!)

Based on Michigan’s Science standards/expectations for K-1^st graders, we’ll explore a new STEM concept each week and then create our own toys that illustrate those concepts!! For example, when we learn about the powers of magnetic pushes and pulls, students will invent their own magnetic game to take home.

Students will need to be able to cut and trace to attend this course, and, although the lessons will be designed at the K-1 level, students at grade levels K-2 are welcome to attend!

*Some weeks will require special tools/supplies to be brought from home. For example, students might need to bring a retractable tape measure to use during a lesson and maybe a flashlight to use at another.
