Grammar-lympics (grades 2-3ish!)

📢Welcome to the GRAMMAR GAMES!!

Join us to review a new part of speech or sentence type/structure every week of this 9 week course.  Aligned to Michigan’s ELA standards for 2nd-3rd grades, we’ll have interactive lessons with topics like verbs, pronouns, prepositional phrases, adverbs, conjunctions, imperative sentences, etc. 

After the lesson, students will team up to complete mini challenges (“Minute to Win It” style games!) that reinforce the grammatical topic for that day!

For example, when we learn about prepositions, students will have to bottle flip and land “in front of” and “between” items. 

Students should be able to independently write, copy, and read at the 1st grade level (at least) in order to participate in the class. Students at the levels of grades 1-4 are invited to join us!
